Winning in Win Time
Maywood's Win Time HAL group members finished up their study of a species of owl called tytonidae or barn owls on May 16th. They worked hard learning about owl digestion and food webs through dissecting owl pellets. To further enhance their knowledge, this group studied anatomy by organizing and recreating the skeletal structures of the barn owls's prey. What a fun learning experience!
