6th Grade Haiku Poems Published

Seven MPS 6th grade students from are having their Haiku poems published in the Young American Poetry Digest.  This is very exciting as their poems were chosen by panel members who are educators. The best poems were selected based on content and age level of the students. This book will have 200 pages of poems from students from across the United States. Maywood Public School Library will receive a free copy.  It is wonderful having seven published authors in 6th grade!
