MHC kicks off 8-man football season

The MHC Football team has kicked off the 2020 season. The Wolves are coming off a 5-4 record in Six man. This year, the Wolves decided to take a step up and go to Eight man despite losing a valuable senior class. To start the season, the Leyton Warriors traveled to Hayes Center to take on the Wolves. The next week the Wolves traveled to Grant to play the Perkins County Plainsmen. The wolves have gotten off to a rough start but are looking to bounce back as they have six more regular season games in front of them.

In an interview with Coach High he said that he is excited for the 2020 season. When asked how the transition from 6 man to 8 man has been, he replied, “The transition has been good but rough at times.” He also stated “There are positions that need to be filled after losing last year's senior class.” With the skill of this year's team Coach High thinks that the team is a better fit for 8 man football rather than 6 man.
