What is Inter-High Scholastic Contests Day? Inter-High Day is a day where students go and take tests competing with other schools from all over the state. The mission for the contest is to engage students while on campus, test their academic knowledge, and increase their scholarship opportunities. Placing in the top three for your test awards you three free credit hours redeemable in summer classes the following summer. The credits are valid for on-campus, online, and distance learning courses. Along with the credit hours the top three placers also received medals relative to their placing. Five hundred dollar scholarships are awarded to all first place winners. If a senior does not attend an MPCC college after graduation can be re-awarded to a senior planning to attend an MPCC college by the high school guidance counselor. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place division winners will be awarded plaques. When you see your classmates in the halls, take a moment to congratulate them and wish them well on the upcoming competition.
