Getting to Know Ms. Armstrong

Maywood High School has quite a few new teachers in the classrooms this year. One of these teachers is Ms. Vicky Armstrong. Ms. Armstrong is the new ag teacher and the assistant volleyball coach. She was born in Brule, NE, and graduated from South Platte High School in 2006.  While playing volleyball at Casper College, Ms. Armstrong graduated in 2008 with her Associates Degree in Agriculture. In 2010, she then graduated from Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwell, OK, with her Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Education.

Ms. Armstrong enjoys coaching basketball at all age levels.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and working on the family ranch, as well as participating in sprint triathlons. Her goal for this year is to make a positive impact on students in and out of the classroom. She believes that every student is capable of learning, and that she is here to provide the tools they need to succeed. Welcome to MPS, Ms. Armstrong!
