Southwest Nebraska "Big Give"
This year the "Big Give" has a new name reflecting the expanded area the charity donations is covering. Southwest Nebraska Big Give now encompasses communities surrounding the McCook area. Maywood TeamMates has participated in the "Big Give" drive for the past five years. We are continuing to solicit donations from community members to support Maywood TeamMates. Funds raised will go toward TeamMates Scholarships and activities. Southwest Nebraska Big Give, through the Graff Family Charitable Foundation has generously offered matching donations for funds given on Thursday, November 2, 2023. The Graff Family Foundation will match every donation up to one dollar for every two dollars donated, up to $50,000.
More information on Southwest Nebraska Big Give is contained in the attached informational article. A second attachment has all the organizations seeking donations. You can select multiple agencies and write one check for all your donations. Mrs. Sheri Hartley will pick up any donations left at Maywood High School after school at 4:00 and submit the donations to the Big Give.
