Wolves Football Season Comes to an End
by Stevie Handsaker
The Maywood-Hayes Center Wolves football season has sadly come to an end. After 8 tough games of fighting hard for a win, sadly the Wolves ended their season with a record of 0 - 8. The team this year consisted of 25 players who worked hard to better themselves, and their teammates everyday. The group of coaches who taught the boys what a team should be like, and how to play the game, were assistant coaches Nick High, Kolby Hamilton, Nathan Brott, Ben Widener and head coach Jeff Erickson. This past year the football team had great leadership from Wolves seniors; Jett Sjeklocha, Ridge Hastings, Kohl Rutherford, Weston Morrow, Sebastian Wheat, and Mauricio Diaz. Although the season may not have ended as all Wolves fans expected, we are very proud of how hard this year's team, and seniors, have worked to make themselves better, and help better prepare the team for next year's season.
