MPS Welcomes New Math Teacher

What do you call friends who love math? Algebros! That's one of the many math jokes Mrs. Jensen has posted in her room. Amanda Jensen is originally from Gothenburg, Nebraska, where she also has 2 brothers, the oldest Cody, and the youngest Noah. Mrs. Jensen still lives in Gothenburg with her husband, Archer, and their dog Max. Mrs. Jensen graduated from UNK and is ready for her first official year of teaching at Maywood Public Schools! When asked why she chose the job at Maywood, she simply said that she likes the small school atmosphere and wanted one-on-one time with the students. Along with that when asked why she wanted to become a teacher, she said that she enjoyed school and wanted to work with kids. Mrs. Jensen has a true passion for training horses, and enjoys baking and cooking. We are super excited to welcome Mrs. Jensen to Maywood Public Schools and hope she has a great year of teaching!
