Maywood sophomore to compete at 2021 State Speech Championship
MPS Sophomore Emmy Oldham will take her humorous prose speech to the 2021 Nebraska State Speech Tournament in Kearney, this Friday, March 19, 2021. Emmy has been honing her speech with feedback from Maywood's speech coach Shyanne Foster.
Emmy is scheduled to compete early Friday morning at Kearney Senior High School. If she wins, she will compete again later that afternoon. MPS will have a send-off celebration for Emmy this Thursday afternoon at 3:30.
