5th grade's mega fun day!

Mrs. Fletcher’s 5th grade has a punch card system for reinforcing positive behavior and following classroom procedures. A punch is earned by a student or the whole class by "wowing" the teacher with exemplary acts of character, displaying maximum effort, following procedures consistently, or receiving a compliment from another teacher or administration. 

20 punches are needed to complete an individual's punch card which can then be redeemed for a variety of prizes from the class treasure box. “I keep these cards and hang them from the ceiling in a chain. Enough individual punch cards have been turned in to earn Mega Fun Day,” stated Mrs. Fletcher.

The class voted on fun day options and we are having donut snacks, wearing pajamas, and bringing a stuffed animal "study buddy" to school. The 5th graders celebrated Mega Fun Day on October 29.
