Preschool Paraprofessional

Maywood Public Schools is accepting applications for a Preschool Paraprofessional.
We are seeking a caring, dependable individual who enjoys working with young children and supporting their growth and development. The Preschool Paraprofessional works closely with the classroom teacher to provide instructional support, build positive relationships with students and families, and assist with daily classroom activities and other duties as assigned.

Position Details:
Nine-month position - Starting August 12, 2026
Starting wage: $18.00 per hour, based on education and experience

Application for Employment

Bus Driver

Maywood Public Schools is seeking to hire bus drivers for the upcoming 2025-26 school year.  We have an opening for a 14-and-under-passenger bus that does not require a CDL.  We are also looking to hire CDL bus drivers. Route drivers may earn additional $6.00. day for CDL driving.  The rates schedule begins at $75 per day to $105 per day.  The district will cover the costs of physicals, driver training, licenses, and random drug testing.  All drivers are required to complete level 1 transportation training.  Routes take approximately 4.0 hours/day.  Contact Rick Gilmore for further information at 308-362-4223.  We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Substitute Teacher

Maywood Public Schools is seeking to hire substitute teachers for the upcoming 2025-26 school year.
