Spring weather welcomes Careers-on-Wheels Caravan
Maywood Public Schools hosted area businesses and the vehicles involved with a variety of careers on May 4, 2018 from 12:30 to 2:00 in front of the school. Groups of students visited the vehicles and employees for approximately 5-10 minutes each to learn about the employment opportunities, education involved in attaining the career, and the vehicle that is used to complete their job requirements.
We had a fantastic afternoon and learned a lot of valuable information about different careers and the vehicles that help people do their jobs. We ended the day with a tasty ice cream treat!
