Cam-Man & Striv channel bring MHC games into our living rooms

This year is the first year that our school has streamed school events on StrivTV. Striv is a website where you can stream events. This fall, the games were streamed by Maywood High sophomore Troy Rutherford, aka "Cam-Man". To video the games Troy uses a tripod and a video camera. He then has an HDMI cord that puts the video from the camera onto a computer. He uses a hotspot to stream the games onto Striv. In addition to filming our games, Troy also keeps track of the score. He puts the points on the scoreboard which is located at the top of the screen. In an interview with Troy he stated “I like to record the games because I get to watch them play.” He also likes to cheer them on. Troy’s goal is to someday be able to do play-by-play and interview the players after the game. Striv is a great way to watch they games when you can't make it to the game in person. When you see Cam-Man (Troy) out and about, give him a hearty thanks for his dedication and hard work in bringing MHC games to all of us!

Thanks, Cam-Man!
