National Honor Society Hygiene and Food Drive
This year our annual drive will be focused on providing a hygiene closet and food pantry for the students of Maywood Public Schools. Our in-house pantry will be stocked with basic resources such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, deodorant, body wash, and soap. We will also stock it with food items such as microwaveable meals, canned goods, crackers, fruits, and vegetables (items kids can make at home by themselves).
Access to the pantry will be available to all MPS students in an anonymous manner. All a student needs to do is confide in a teacher, counselor, or administrator and the student will be taken to the closet to shop for items they need in private.
The drive will take place from December 2 to December 13. If you would like to donate, please bring items to the school or contact Abby Brown at 308-362-4223 or abby.brown@maywoodtigers.org.
