You're "Blinding me with Science!"
Mr. Sonnenfeld's 8th grade life science, 10th grade biology, and general science classes spent time over the past week collecting insects. Each class worked to classify the insects they collected. This scientific study of insects is called Entomology.
Students learned proper techniques for collecting insects, learning that they are very fragile and elusive. Students keenly caught everything from flies and lady bird beetles to praying mantids. All the classes enjoyed their time outdoors in some beautiful weather!
