Maywood FFA members punch tickets to State Convention
On Wednesday, November 9th the Maywood FFA Chapter took the short trip over to Curtis, Nebraska to compete in the fall FFA CDE Competition. The FFA Members have been hard at work preparing for the livestock judging contest as well as the agriscience contest. The students come to school at 7:00AM every Tuesday and Thursday to practice for these contests. The hard work definitely paid off as the Sr. Livestock judging team and the Agriscience team both placed 4th in competition. They earned a ticket to the State FFA Convention in April where they will compete against other qualifying teams from around the state.
