Lucas McCain
My name is Lucas McCain. My family and I live in Maywood. Olivia and I have three child of our own. Family is a big part of our life. We spend our free time with them.
I graduated with my bachelor's degree in K-12 Special Education with an endorsement in coaching. I taught multiple upper grade levels special education at Arlington High School. Also taught special education at Logan View Elementary School. I was able to teach with my wife who was the fourth grade teacher.
I graduated from Doane University with a degree in Educational Leadership. I have learned that you have to know your own morals and values in order to lead others. Leaders need to build relationships with everyone involved in order to build success. Those relationships allow the leader to identify others' strengths and work more efficiently toward a common goal.
My family and I have enjoyed being a part of the Maywood Public Schools community.
