Launch the media gallery 1 player - media #3The Maywood FFA Chapter hosted their 1st Annual FFA Awards Banquet on the evening of April 27th. Awards were presented in the commons area of the high school to recognize the accomplishments of the members. At the conclusion of the banquet, everyone was invited to stay for a time of fellowship and desserts. Along with the awards there was a slide show for the guests’ entertainment. The slide show featured some photogenic moments at various FFA activities. Also during the banquet BreAnna Kahler gave her retiring address, and the new officer team was announced.
Many parents, teachers, and administration came and supported the FFA members. Along with the banquet there was a dessert table that everyone got to enjoy after the meeting was adjourned. There was a wide variety of desserts. Strawberry shortcake, cookies, cookies-and-cream pies, cherry pie, peanut butter pie, cupcakes, licorice, dirt cake, and brownies covered the tables and enticed members and guests. The Maywood FFA chapter had a great year and they are looking forward to next year.
