Tigers Earn Honors At RPAC Art Show
This year several Maywood students entered their art work for the Republican Plains Activities Conference (RPAC) Art Show. This show is held every year during the third week of January. All art teachers from the conference meet in Cambridge with 10-12 pieces of their students work to be judged. This year winners are: 1st Place Honorable Mention: BreAnna Kahler, “Natures Beauty;” 2nd Place Honorable Mention: Danielle Thormosgaard, “Abstraction on the Rise,” and Brooke Moore, “Tidal Wave;” 3rd Place Honorable Mention: Kaely Perkins, “Sunset Love”. The 2015 RPAC Art Show is now on display in the library until Wednesday, February 18, 2015. When you meet these fellow Tigers in the halls, congratulate them on their efforts and contributions to this valuable fine arts event!
