Hello, My name is Brad Thoendel and I will be the new Skills and Technical Science teacher at Maywood Public Schools. I grew up near Ewing NE on a dairy farm and was homeschooled until 9th grade, which I then attended Chambers Public School for high school. After high school I went to Northeast Community College for Building Construction, and spent over 5 years out in the workforce. 

After hearing about someone who became a teacher with the same learning disability as myself, I decided to go to Wayne State College for Skills and Technical Sciences Education. I graduated from Wayne State College in Spring 2021. I am married to my lovely wife, Courtney, we have been working on our home in Maywood NE. We both love to go deer hunting and golfing, however we have both been extremely busy this summer and have not been able to go golfing that much.

I look forward to having a wonderful year with all of the students at Maywood Public Schools and all of the awesome projects we will be doing over the course of the school year.
