Launch the media gallery 1 playerI've been teaching in Maywood since 2017. I grew up on a ranch north of Thedford, Nebraska, and graduated from Thedford in 2004. I attended Doane College on a basketball scholarship and graduated from there in 2008 with a journalism degree and a minor in history. I went back for my education degree a few years later and graduated again from Doane in 2012 with a teaching degree in social sciences.
From 2012-2017, I taught in my hometown of Thedford, where I was also an assistant football coach, head boys basketball coach, and junior high and high school assistant track coach. I am now the Athletic Director for Maywood and also am the head coach for the Jr. High football team, Jr. High and High School boys basketball teams, and Head Golf Coach of the Maywood-Hayes Center Wolves.
