Ms. Vicky Armstrong

7-12 Agricultural Instructor/FFA Advisor

Hello all!  My name is Victoria (Vicky) Armstrong and I am a Brule, NE native.  I graduated from South Platte High School in 2006 and went on to play volleyball at Casper College and graduated in 2008 with my Associates Degree in Agriculture. In 2010, I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Education from Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwell, OK. After teaching a semester in Vilas, CO, I decided to pursue my Master’s Degree. I graduated in December 2014 from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX with a M.A. in Human Resource Development.

I enjoy coaching volleyball and have had the opportunity to coach all age levels from 13's to collegiate. I have also had the honor of serving as the Nebraska Angus Queen as well as showing cattle with the Nebraska Jr. Angus Association. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, working on the family ranch, and participating in sprint triathlons. My mom resides in Big Springs and enjoys following the MHC wolves and assisting with FFA events. My sister Val is the head volleyball coach at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX.

My goal for this year is to make a positive impact on my students in and out of the classroom.  Through classroom work, FFA, and supervised agricultural experiences, each student has the opportunity to be successful in whatever avenue they decide to pursue after high school. I strive to help students step out of their comfort zonez to discover their true potential through various leadership development events and career development events. Each and every student is capable of learning, and I am here to help them achievee their goals both in and out of the classroom.
