Hello all! My name is Victoria (Vicky) Armstrong and I am a Brule, NE native. I graduated from South Platte High School in 2006. While playing volleyball at Casper College, I graduated in 2008 with my Associates Degree in Agriculture. In 2010, I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Education from Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwell, OK. After teaching a semester in Vilas, CO, I decided to pursue my Master’s Degree. This December I will graduate from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX with a M.A. in Human Resource Development.
I enjoy coaching volleyball and have had the opportunity to coach all age levels from 13's to collegiate. I have also had the honor of serving as the Nebraska Angus Queen as well as showing cattle with the Nebraska Jr. Angus Association. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, working on the family ranch, and participating in sprint triathlons. My parents still reside on our family farm outside of Brule and enjoy traveling as well socializing with whoever they come across. My sister Val is the assistant volleyball coach at Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY.
My goal for this year is to make a positive impact on my students in and out of the classroom. Through classroom work, FFA, and supervised agricultural experiences, each student has the opportunity to be successful in whatever avenue they decide to pursue after high school. Each and every student is capable of learning, and I am here to provide the tools they need to succeed in school and later on in life.
