Two Maywood Seniors Earn State FFA Degree
Recently, the 89th Annual Nebraska State FFA Convention was held in Lincoln, Nebraska. This event was held on April 5th-7th and Pinnacle Bank Arena was used as its main venue. Over 7,000 FFA members and guests attended the Convention, and 14 of those members just happened to be from the Maywood FFA Chapter. Maywood FFA members competed in contests like Agriscience, Ag Sales, Floriculture, Nursery and Landscape, Ag Communications, and Livestock Judging.
The highlight of the trip was when Maywood FFA members Tucker Hartley and Bryar Gerlach walked across the Pinnacle Bank Arena stage and received their Nebraska State FFA Degrees. The Nebraska State FFA Degree is the highest honor that a Nebraska FFA member can receive.
