Art student creates cosmic cool from a can
Maywood Public school’s art program, an award-winning and treasured course, is ever-expanding. This month one student is experimenting with spray paint. That’s right, spray paint, which most of us associate with decorating patio furniture, or painting plastic car models. Kaely Perkins, a senior at MPS, is pointing multi-colored nozzles at paper, and she has already created several unique pieces.
